We use a small, deliberately limited number of cookies and similar technologies on this website. This page explains what they are, why we use them, and how you can control them — in line with § 25 TTDSG (the German implementation of the ePrivacy Directive) and the GDPR.
1. How consent works on this site
When you first visit, a banner asks you to choose. Accepting all, rejecting all non-essential cookies, and opening “Manage” to choose category by category all carry equal visual weight — none is a smaller or greyed-out option, and no box is pre-ticked in our favour. Strictly necessary cookies load immediately, because the site can’t function without them. Google Analytics 4 does not load, and sets no cookie, until you actively accept it — either via “Accept all” or by switching Analytics on in “Manage.” Your choice is remembered on your next visit, and you can change it at any time using “Manage your cookie preferences” below, or “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page.

3. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the site to function — running the cart, remembering your language, and remembering your cookie choice. They don’t track you across other websites, and because they’re strictly necessary, they don’t require consent under § 25(2) TTDSG. You can block them in your browser settings, but parts of the site — the cart in particular — will stop working correctly if you do.
4. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4)
If you consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are useful and which aren’t — aggregate numbers, not individual tracking for marketing purposes. This is the only non-essential, consent-gated technology on this site: no advertising pixels, no social-media embeds, no third-party marketing trackers. Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited; see our Privacy Policy, section 7, for the full detail on this processing and international transfers. You can withdraw consent at any time — Analytics stops collecting new data immediately, though data already sent to Google before you withdrew is handled under Google’s own retention settings.
5. Manage your cookie preferences
This opens the same preference dialog as the initial banner, at any time.
6. Changes to this policy
If the cookies or tools we use change, we’ll update this page and the table above accordingly.
