1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

SEO Gold Pro GmbH, Saarlandstraße 42, 76187 Karlsruhe, Germany Phone: +49 176 21463751 · Email: support@seogoldpro.com

2. Data protection officer

Given our company’s size and the nature of our data processing, we are not required under Art. 37 GDPR to appoint a data protection officer. For any question about how we handle your data, contact us directly using the details above.

3. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to: request access to the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15); request rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16); request erasure (Art. 17); request restriction of processing (Art. 18); receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20); object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21); and withdraw any consent you’ve given, at any time, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Baden-Württemberg, the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg (LfDI BW).

4. Hosting and server log files

This website runs on shared web hosting infrastructure. Each time the site is accessed, the hosting provider’s servers automatically record technical access data (server log files): IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, browser type and referring URL. This data is processed to keep the site technically stable and secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest) and is not merged with any other data source. Log files are kept for a limited period for security purposes, then deleted or anonymised.

5. Data collected when you contact us

Our contact form is deliberately built to hand off to your own email client (a mailto: link) rather than submit data to our server — when you send a message, it is composed and sent directly from your own email account to support@seogoldpro.com. We only receive and process the personal data you choose to include in that email (typically name, company, email address, phone number and your message), to respond to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — pre-contractual measures, or Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We delete enquiry correspondence once it’s no longer needed for that purpose, and in any case no later than three years after the last contact, unless a longer retention is legally required.

6. Data collected when you place an order

When you use checkout on this site, we collect: name, company (optional), email address, phone number, billing address, VAT ID (if provided) and the project details relevant to your order (website URL, target market(s), and any notes you add). This is processed to confirm scope, issue an invoice and deliver the ordered service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract). Order data and the related invoice are kept for the statutory retention periods under German commercial and tax law (generally six to ten years under §§ 147 AO / 257 HGB). No payment-card data is ever collected through this site — the checkout’s payment step is a demonstration; real engagements are invoiced separately by SEPA bank transfer.

7. Cookies and Google Analytics 4

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to run the site (cart contents, your language choice, your cookie-consent choice). With your consent, we also use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. The full detail — every cookie, its purpose, duration and category, and how to change your choice at any time — is in our Cookie Policy.

When active, Google Analytics 4 is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (and, for data processing, Google LLC, USA). Data may be transferred to the United States; Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or relies on Standard Contractual Clauses as a transfer safeguard. IP addresses are truncated/anonymised by Google Analytics before storage. This processing only happens after you actively consent via the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and stops the moment you withdraw consent.

8. Recipients of your data

We do not sell your personal data. It is shared only with: our hosting provider (as a processor, under a data-processing agreement, for the site’s technical operation); Google, for Analytics, only with your consent; and, where legally required, tax authorities or courts. We do not use your data for any purpose beyond the one it was collected for, unless required by law.

9. International transfers

Where data leaves the European Economic Area — in practice, only via Google Analytics 4, if you have consented to it — we rely on the safeguards named in section 7.

10. Changes to this policy

We update this policy if our data processing changes. The version published on this page is always the current one. Questions: support@seogoldpro.com.
